Naruto Uzumaki was born on October 10 in Hidden Leaf Village or Konoha. When Naruto was still a newborn infant, a powerful nine-tailed demon fox (Kyubi) attacked the Leaf Village. In order to save the village, the Fourth Hokage (Yondaime) sealed the demon fox within the body of the newborn Naruto but sacrificed his life in the process.
Before his death, the Fourth Hokage wanted Naruto to be respected as a hero for being the container of the demon; unfortunately the adult villagers believing that Naruto and the demon were one and the same feared and hated him.
Furthermore, with the Third Hokage’s instructions to the villagers not to speak about this event, even to their own children, Naruto grew up confused and mistreated throughout his childhood as to why the villagers of Konoha treated him with hostility.
As Naruto grew up, he desperately seeks for attention and acknowledgement for his existence. As a result, Naruto is determined to achieve the rank of Hokage for recognition. Naruto would prank the villagers and on several occasions, using his most dangerous jutsu, Orioke no jutsu (Sexy Skill); transforming himself into a naked female to stun his male instructors.
The first person to befriend and acknowledge Naruto is his compassionate ninja instructor named Iruka Umino. Naruto was deeply moved by Iruka’s kindness and confidence in him and as a result, Naruto values Iruka more as a father figure, as well as an instructor.
In combat, Naruto isn’t exactly what you would call a genius and likes to charge in head on with his opponents. However he is not to be underestimated as he is a clever prankster and have always manage to overcome his opponents through a combination of willpower and clever diversions. Furthermore, with the demon fox within him, Naruto has access to its great chakra reserves, allowing him to perform jutsu that someone of his rank would ordinarily be incapable of using. Some of his strongest ninjutsu includes the powerful Rasengan Attack (Rasengan), Toad Summoning Technique (Kyuichose No Jutsu) and Wind Elemental Release: Spiraling Shuriken (Futon: Rasenshuriken).
