A very talented ninja since young, Itachi Uchiha graduated at the top of his Academy class at age 7, activated his clan special Advanced Bloodline ability of the Sharingan by age 8, passesd the Chunin exams at the age of 10 and by the time Itachi was 13 years old, he was already a squadron leader of the ANBU.
However after joining the ANBU, Itachi soon began to grow dissatisfied with his clan and began to distance himself from the clan, attacking its members when provoked and voicing his opinion that the clan itself was weak and hopeless.
In a bid to measure his strength, Itachi murdered his best friend Uchiha Shisui and with this murderous deed, he attained the ability to use the greatest technique achievable by his bloodline, the Mangekyou Sharingan, a rare Sharingan form achieved by only a few selected clan members.
To test his new found ability, Itachi began the last act he would perform in Konoha for many years, the killing of his entire Uchiha clan, sparing only his little brother, Sasuke.
After wiping out his clan, Itachi fled the Hidden Leaf Village and joined the Akatsuki Organization.

A complex character, Itachi Uchiha is somewhat alone in his own universe and nobody so far has been able to approach him enough to know his true intentions. His only noticeable interest is in the organisation Akatsuki’s goals, putting the organization’s success and secrecy before everything else.
